OUR SHARED DIRECTION
Built on trust and respect.
Our vision
Inclusive Ethiopia envisions an inclusive Ethiopia built on trust and respect, where persons with disabilities fully and equally participate in all aspects of society.
Our mission
Inclusive Ethiopia works in partnership with persons with disabilities and other stakeholders to empower persons with disabilities, advance their rights, and remove physical, institutional, socio-economic, and other barriers to full, equal, and meaningful inclusion and participation in society.
HOW WE WORK
Inclusion grows through shared action.
Inclusive Ethiopia works alongside persons with disabilities, their families, Organisations of Persons with Disabilities, communities, institutions, and partners to turn rights into participation.
Community engagement
Communities are involved throughout programme design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Partnership and networking
We connect disability organisations, public institutions, civil society, academia, communities, and the private sector.
Capacity building
We support people and institutions to address barriers, challenge discrimination, and participate equally.
ACROSS EVERYTHING WE DO
Equality, dignity, and safety are never optional.
Gender equality
We give particular attention to the empowerment of women and girls with disabilities, so their rights, choices, and leadership are recognised in every area of our work.
Safeguarding and protection
We treat safeguarding and protection as cross-cutting responsibilities, supporting environments where participation is respectful, meaningful, and safe.
OUR STRATEGY 2026–2030
A shared route to full participation.
Our strategy brings together accessibility, rights, empowerment, education, community-based inclusive development, and humanitarian action. It is a practical commitment to removing barriers and creating space for persons with disabilities to lead and participate equally.
